My worst nightmare, a speaking assignment last night. I've been OUT for 38 years!
by FatFreek 2005 inevery five years or so i have this vivid and recurring dream, tho you'll probably surmise it's more of a nightmare.
i learn somehow that i am scheduled for this theocratic ministry school speaking assignment, the instruction talk (do they still have those 15 minute drone-athons?).
i become racked with tension knowing that i haven't even prepared for an assignment that is only 30 minutes away.

by newqatarjob inas someone brought up as a jw and been an elder and been disfellowshipped (twice!!!
) i find it difficult to understand why ex jws have to attack the religion, yes religion, not cult or sect.
i am no longer disfellowshipped just do not want to practice anymore.

i think the GB--and other prominent types are probably genuine in their chosen few delusion---or why else would someone running a multi-billion dollar business settle for a rolex and free accommodation. do any of them actually own any property ?

Oh Damn...I have been sprung!
by stuckinarut2 ini knew it could happen one day...yet i was so careful..... sitting at the sound cabinet, i had our awesome forum open on my tablet, and didn't see the microphone brother looking over at me...... he wandered over and asked me "whats that site?".
i quickly responded "oh, i googled to get to our jw.org site, and this must have popped up" while quickly closing it.... he didn't look too fussed, but my heart was beating..... he is pretty chilled out and certainly not an "uber-dub"...but this was a wake up call to be more careful...i am fading fast, but don't want anymore attention from the nazi-elders while doing so!.
